The Matrix Ozik HD5 is only slightly heavier than the HD4, but has a completely different feel. Instead of the mid/high launch of it's lighter cousin, the HD5 conforms to a low/mid launch and a mid spin. Even though the torque is around 5.0, it still has a mid/stiff feel to it.
The HD in HD5 refers to the hexdecagonal internal platform on which the shafts are constructed. With a much stronger 16-cut butt section, the Matrix Golf HD5 has a stronger tip and structure without increasing weight.
